Neurology of E&I Workshop Series
Why do our brains get in the way of us being equitable and inclusive in the workplace?
Addressing Neurological Core Needs introduces attendees to the equity-based, human social behavior framework of BICEPS coined by Paloma Medina. We begin with a foundational understanding of the role our brains play in our Equity and Inclusion experiences within our workplaces.
The workshop series examines the personal, team and structural roles, as we move towards making systemic changes in our work environments.

“I’m incredibly thankful for all the heart that goes into the Neurology of E&I, from both the facilitation and the participants! Amy creates an environment that is professional and efficient, yet welcoming and warm. They infused seemingly challenging topics with empathy and humor, reminding us that while we’re all on individual E&I journeys, we can offer connection and seek solace within our cozy cohort.”

“The Neurology of Equity and Inclusion: Train the Trainer Program was the single most valuable professional development choice I made in 2020 (or maybe ever). The program is an incredible value for its price; it was evident right away that I was learning things that would benefit my entire career.”

“One of my biggest concerns with rolling out Equity and Inclusion training was managing any feelings of anxiety amongst my team as we set out to begin this educational journey and cultural shift. Amy's delivery style, mastery of content and expertise in holding space quickly put everyone at ease. I was taken aback by how open and engaged my team was regardless of their previous experience (or lack thereof) in this kind of work. It was the best execution of training in this space that I've seen and experienced....and many people from my team shared the same feedback. We look forward to incorporating Amy into our DEI efforts moving forward.”
